First Day of Virtual First Grade

Our daughter had her first day of virtual first grade this week.

It was an eye-opener experience as to how intense this process is going to be for both my wife and I. Seeing as our daughter is only six-years-old, it's going to take time for her to get used to this new process of learning. We're proud of her, for even though it was tough she did a great job.

So not only are we now - unofficial homeschooling parents - both with careers - as well as a three-year-old son that is home, who needs to be cared for and wants to learn and play as well.

As I mentioned in the video, I am aware that we are not alone in this - there are millions of families experiencing this at once. We'll get through it and find our groove. Until then...AHHHH.

After Paloma finished up her day, I took the kids to a nature preserve that's is only about a 5 minute drive from our home. I love this place, it's so peaceful and crazy enough, it's at the back of the University where my wife is teaching.

I'm proud of how this video turned out and love getting to make these with my kids. Hopefully, they'll continue to be down to continue going on these adventures with me for a long time.
