Ice Cream and LA adventures

Sometimes our coffee adventures require a diversion to an ice cream shop. I'm not mad about that.

I love raising our children in Los Angeles. Specifically, our neighborhood of Los Feliz. There are so many coffee shops, restaurants, book stores, and a library all within walking distance. And I freakin' love to walk.

Not to mention, Griffith Park is only a few minutes away. And all of a sudden you're in a completely different environment, with trails and trees and playgrounds. It's mine and my children's happy place.

I can go on and on about how I was so worried about bringing up kids in LA. And yes, there will be elements that we will both shield and strengthen our children up in as they get older. But I've never once regretted our decision to move here and have our children here.

So yes, I freakin' love LA. And I love being able to share this experience with our children. Be it with coffee or ice cream. Or...coffee ice cream. My favorite!
